I didn’t much like V for Vendetta, but this is just absurd. Walking out because of its politics? I struggle for an analogy. It’s like walking out of a Chardin exhibit because you’re a vegetarian.

In the meantime, I eagerly await The Da Vinci Code, which I shall walk out on in protest of its sympathetic portrayal of the Albigensian Heresy.

I think you missed something in V for Vendetta. Do not confuse me with saying it was a great movie (they seriously couldn't find someone to act with a mask on? That how it all started fer Zues' sake!), but there were some interesting and subversive (I hate that word) ideas.

While you found the identity of the dictatorship foolishly unlikely, I saw a mirror. When the opposition is derided as godless fags, I recall American cold war propoganda. The head honcho has the facial hair to appear "Eastern European," thus completing the juxtaposition.

Plus, I never really visualized what it must be like to be "taken away." I found myself in Argentina all over again.

Anywho, I think you are trying too hard. Congrats on blog-try-#-2. I was inspired.

Oh, and hi. Long time.

Dude, you're gone all this time, and all you can say is that I didn't get his facial hair.

Harsh. You didn't even say anything about my totally awesome use of the Albigensian Heresy.

Rockin' ta see ya. I'll visit your house if you visit mine.
