I call bullshit. In no way do I sound like the quasi-Canadian retards in the Inland North. Christ, does anything scream "dullard" more loudly than a strong Wisconsin accent?
Connecticut, as usual, is interpreted as a pretty strong case of middle-child syndrome, the dollhouse of the eastern seaboard, but growing up there, I can attest to its indiginous accentlessness.

"North Central" is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw "Fargo" you probably didn't think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot.
