I've always admired the courage and logical rigor of those who refuse to Succumb to Fear. If a few years go by without another large-scale murderous attack, we may conclude that the threat was thereby Specious, and that the only thing to Fear was Fear Itself (and perhaps the malevolent Mongers of Fear). If and when another attack does occur, we must immediately affix the blame for Failing to Connect the Dots---that, and recommit to refusing to Succumb to Fear.....
