An op-ed page can only exist so long as the reader can trust the paper's judgment in assignments.I swear to god that trying to keep up with liberal faith in Instutitions is going to end up sending me to one.

I kneel before the great and powerful IOZ!
I need a dictionary by my side to decipher this site some days, but you guys are keeping me going.
And, it's a surprise and relief after several frustrating months of reading progblogs to discover a place where the sentient beings are so right - and funny. ("Charlie Brown yahoos"....Indeed!)
Carry on my good fellow.
Chris in Duluth
because we all know what happens when readers lose trust in the paper's judgment.
And I'd like to add that the Catholic Church can only exist so long its parishioners can can trust their children with the priests.
i've been to the greatest mental instutitions of our generation
(literally - well, sort of - i had group therapy at the same mental hospital that james taylor checked himself out of "against medical advice" - and did you know that leaving against medical advice is a marker for good prognosis?)
i've taken nearly every kind of legal and illegal drug (well, several of them, at least)
and altough i would prefer a bottle in front of me to a frontal lobotomy, my best advice is -
don't worry, be happy
- if this is difficult, i suggest consulting buddhist literature and/or practitioners

It's why I semi-retired.
Self-refuting statements worded as though they are insightful truths, that is the lib-bloggers specialty.
Looks like someone forgot his morning exercises.
I swear that "hermitlobster" is my alter ego.
Wierd.
There's some fun stuff going on over at Al Gidordano's "The Field".
Apparently some of the younger natives are getting restless. Can't take the strain of the Big Dem fight.
I'm trying, in vain of course, to add some perspective. Will get creamed but, still, one must do what one must. Do.
