Where There's a Will

I find the notion that "we owe Georgia a serious effort to defend its sovereignty" because it assisted us in invading Iraq, deposing and executing Iraq's leader, and then pursuing a multi-year occupation of Iraqi territory, to be absolutely delightful.

S. Ossetia has voted for independence several times ..... As with Kosovo we should be on their side... Not Georgia's

We should stay the f%^$# out of their business. We shouldn't "be on anyone's side."

I still remember when good ol' Mother Russia warned us, (during the Glorious Reign of the Great Empathizer when all was wonderous and will be restored once we dutifully paticipate in the most important election in history, evah)that once the gang of drug runners and slave traders in Kosovo was given its own country, thanks to massive bombinb from "us," what's to stop every little sliver of ethnicity from demanding the same? Not that there is anything wrong at all with said slivers of humanity being free, free, and more free.

Well, there's absolutely no doubt any more - irony is officially dead. Again.
