I mean, why not "aching the boat" or "slamming the air" or "focusing the box"?

What so weird about growing pies? We grow all kinds of food. Corn, cows, and pies. Where do you think pies come from, anyway? They grow on trees! Same as taxes. It's up to us, collectively, by which I mean of course them, the politicians, to make sure to water the pie trees. And the tax trees. Otherwise no more pies will grow, and we'll all be sad.
