I was down on Number 7 earlier in the season, but mostly because I thought he was playing injured when he should be recovering for the run down the stretch. Now that he's got some zip back, Pittsburgh is still bitching about him, even after last night's win. What a gang of whiners. Even if you dispute the touchdown call, the final drive was a beautiful thing to watch. Even if you think that he holds the ball too long, you have to admit that he scrambled well last night. And here's the thing--you've got one of the most-sacked quarterbacks in the league working behind a pretty lousy O-line with a 2nd-tier running game that lacks a power back, and you've got an inconsistent receiver corps, excepting Hines Ward, who are prone to dropped passes (Washington had, what, five last night?), and your kick and punt returners are routinely giving you lousy field position, and the Steelers keep winning anyway. So call me unimpressed by the argument that there's something wrong with our quarterback.

he aint so good with a motorcycle -- i can tell you that much.
I was proud of the way my Ravens played last night, but you guys earned it. No question.
That being said, I still hope Bart Scott breaks Hines Ward's leg some day - which he keeps promising to do, in pretty much those exact words.
Absolutely right! I wouldn't trade Ben for any other quarterback in the league.
And actually, the offensive line is playing better--those are some words I never thought I'd say earlier in the season, especially after the Philly game.
And I would say we saw pretty clearly yesterday how to beat Tennessee, did we not? Pressure on Collins. Pressure on Collins. Pressure on Collins.
Football fans have to bitch about something and if what you're bitching about is Ben Rothlesberger, your team is pretty good. Its hard to watch the Steelers play so well against the Ravens, if you're a Ravens fan. Bart Scott's legendary hit on Rothlesberger a couple of years ago proved that practice makes perfect. After the motorcycle thing, Scott's hit was a mere nuisance. I expect to see the Steelers in the Super Bowl, but I haven't given up hope on the Ravens stopping them.
