Yeah, I await with bated breath the Thomas Friedman column demanding that the people of India take to the streets to protest the bombings in Pakistan.

Ah, but you see, IOZ, Friedman wants the Pakistanis to protest terrorism in India because then it was the Savage Musselmen who were to blame. Now he will call on Pakistanis to protest terrorism in Pakistan as well, because once again, it will be the Savage Musselmen who are to blame. If only the Muslims would denounce the Muslims, everything would be fine again, and we'd all go back to our slave labor telemarketing jobs in peace.
With all due respect to mssr. IOZ, it is beyond time for India to invade Pakistan so they can crow, "Suck on this!" Perhaps the term "brother Freedman moment" can now enter the lexicon of beltway blather.
Have been looking around your site, like the layout, love the content.
Would you like to trade links with a bipartisan politics blog offering a uniquely youth perspective.

"TPY isn’t some product of our massive egos in which we can show the rest of the world how smart and politic-y we sound. TPY rather is the product of an immense love for our country and a recognition of how earth-shatteringly important the topics we will deal with are."
Uh oh. Not in Kansas anymore, purple thingie.
The potential for a new computer game, "Who's blowing who?" with a cast of Sunnis, Shi'ites, Hindus, Capitalists, Anarchists, Communists, Russian Imperialists, Chinese sponsored Maoist type guerrillas, and US Special Forces all running around the Khyber Pass and the Northwest Frontier alternately having sex with woodland creatures and blowing up marketplaces, hospitals, pre-schools and houses of government would be pretty cool...
TF losing his perch is probably too much to hope for.
He's been wrong so much so often you'd think he'd lose at least a little street cred.
Maybe get to share a panel on Charlie, instead of hogging the whole hour.
Oh well...
Big home game for the Black & Yellow today Ioz, how's the weather looking? Let it snow let it snow let it snow.
You know, Friedman tells me that Geese and Ganders actually taste quite different.
Friedman's article was stupid but your post is even stupider. Are you not aware of the various jihadi networks' extremely close ties with the Pakistani military? Donation boxes for the Afghan and Kashmir Jihad outside every Pakistani mosque? Indians don't need to take to the streets to protest the bombings in Pakistan because their military establishment has not openly supported them for the last 30 years. Pakistan's has. Oh and before I get called an Indian neo-con, I'm a Pakistani liberal, and while I get that you would like the US to disengage from that part of the world (wouldn't we all), you just look stupid by equating the two states in this respect.
and here I thought Msr was being rhetorical.
bravo!
dude, I dunno. did I sound too earnest for this blog or something? It was just pretty laughable to see IOZ basically making the same argument as Gen. Hameed Gul.
