People Prefer Being Alive, Studies Show

America realizes that people do not enjoy being killed. Also at eleven, sky blue, water wet, hydrogen atomic number 1, boys have a penis, girls have a jina.

"The problem isn't that we are bad at communicating or being outdone by men in caves," Admiral Mullen wrote. "Most of them aren't even in caves. ..."

because if they were in caves that would be just embarrassing.

Bullshit. Most furners consider it an honor to be killed by an American. Now let a commie kill em and all bets are off....

Barack, this is Smokey. Look, I don't wanna be a hard-on about this, and I know it wasn't your fault, but I just thought it was fair to tell you that Gene and I will be submitting this to the League and asking them to set aside the war. Or maybe forfeit it to us. So, like I say, just thought, you know, fair warning. Tell Bush.

Huh. I actually find it encouraging that someone involved in our imperial endeavors has at least a nodding acquaintance with reality. People find us arrogant and deeds matter more than words and not even a speech from The Obama can make up for the fact that we occasionally blow up a village. Glad somebody understands this, whether or not it's acted upon.

But I thought the smiley faces painted on the bombs absolved imperial guilt.

The US is losing ground in the 'war of ideas' with it's own people, let alone the people of Afghanistan or all of Islam. And they're not even dropping bombs on us or doing anything particularly egregious to us...we still don't like their "ideas". Turns out all the marketing in the world didn't make people like New Coke.

Well, sure, we may be losing the war of ideas, but we're still way ahead in the war of Blowing Shit Up.
