Let me tell you, if there is one thing that really inspires confidence in the methods and motives of Western powers, it's France sending military advisors.

It's amazing how long it takes former empires to get over it. *England* still thinks it's a world power! The Spanish seem to have more or less recovered, though, in spite of Juan Carlos' royal outburst at Hugo Chavez a few years ago. So perhaps there's some hope for the French.

For the Brits -- I dunno. Those chuckleheads need another Norman Conquest.
